FAQ

I've been pleased to hear from many Ashen Mortality fans from around the world since putting this site together. Keep sending me Emails, sign the guestbook and take part in discussions on the new messageboard (click the moon on the homepage to access communication options) so I know you are out there! For those who still have questions after reading the information on these pages, here are some answers to the most common I receive:

Where can I get the Ashen Mortality demo tapes?

The demo tapes are no longer available and only had a limited original circulation. There are no plans to make available any more copies. Apart from a short instrumental, the songs on the demos can all be heard on Sleepless Remorse, for which they were remixed, added to or re-recorded. Some remasters of the original versions also feature on the 2Cd rerelease. You really haven't missed much if you haven't heard the original demos. If you must hear them you will need to find someone who already has copies - try ebay.

Where can I get Ashen Mortality CDS?

You may not see them in the shops anymore but at the momemt (April 2006) the 2CD rerelease of the 2 albums is still in stock from many music websites at about $17. The original Sleepless Remorse CD is hard to come by, but the rerelease is much better quality so why bother with it? The new version sounds much better than the original and, except for the larger and better quality booklet in the original, the new set is better in every way and much better value.

Are you related to Melanie Bolton?

Yes, she's my sister and Ian Arkley is my brother in law.
